FAQ
Yes. The acoustic filter reduces ambient noise — it doesn't block everything out completely. Most people can still hear a phone alarm at normal volume. If you're a very heavy sleeper, set your alarm slightly louder than usual for the first few nights.
That's usually a size issue. The SleepEase plugs come with four tip sizes — XS, S, M, L — so you can find the fit that actually stays put without pressure. Too tight means go smaller; slipping out means go larger. Most people find their fit within the first night.
The plugs are made from skin-friendly medical-grade silicone designed for extended wear. As with any ear plug, keep them clean and make sure they're not inserted too deeply — the soft tip should sit comfortably at the entrance to the ear canal, not pushed in hard.
Rinse with warm water and a small amount of mild soap after use. Remove the ear tips and clean separately. Pat dry and store in the carry case. Takes about 60 seconds — much easier than replacing disposable foam plugs every few days.
That's exactly what the carry case is for. The carabiner clips to a bag, pocket or keyring so the plugs are always with you. They work well for flights, trains, open-plan offices, studying, and live music — one pair for every situation.
They're designed to complement each other. The travel pillow handles neck and head comfort, the SleepEase plugs handle the noise — together they're a complete travel sleep kit. Both are compact enough to keep in a carry-on bag.
With regular cleaning and proper storage, the silicone plugs and tips are designed to last several months of nightly use. When the tips start to feel less comfortable or lose their shape, replacements are inexpensive and widely available.
